How to Deactivate your Elina Account
At Elina, we respect your privacy and comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
If you decide to deactivate your account, you can request this at any time.
Step 1 – Prepare Your Request
To ensure we can verify your identity and process your request securely, please send an email from the same address you use to log in to Elina.
Your email should include:
- Subject line: Account Deactivation Request
- Full name: As registered in your Elina account
- Email address: Used for your Elina account
- Confirmation statement: A simple sentence confirming you wish to deactivate your account, e.g.,“I request the deactivation of my Elina account in accordance with GDPR.”
Step 2 – Send Your Request
Email your request to: dpo@elinaedu.com
Step 3 – Identity Verification
Our Data Protection Officer (DPO) may contact you to confirm your identity or request additional information to ensure your data is protected.
Step 4 – Processing Your Request
Once verified, we will:
- Deactivate your account
- Remove your personal data from our systems, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate administrative purposes
- Confirm completion of your request via email
Processing time: Up to 30 days from the date of verification, as required by GDPR.
Important:
- Once your account is deactivated, you will no longer have access to any groups, plans, or content saved in Elina.
- If you wish to use Elina again in the future, you will need to create a new account.
