Elina just got a lot smarter and friendlier! We’ve made big improvements to how chats begin, how information is handled, and how educators experience the platform.

💬 Smarter Chat Initiation

Elina now starts chats with relevant and contextual opening messages, tailored to specific learners or group needs — so you get right into meaningful planning from the start.

🧸 Nicknames Whitelisted

When creating learner profiles, nicknames are now fully supported and won’t be flagged as sensitive data.

📅 Simplified Learner DOB

When creating learner profiles, educators now only provide month and year of birth — keeping data minimal and easy.

📝 Smarter Onboarding Flow

We’ve updated the onboarding flow with more meaningful questions to better understand educators and provide support that’s even more tailored to your needs.

📜 Load More Chats

To improve speed and clarity, the system now loads only a few chats at once. A “Load more” button lets you scroll back as needed.

🤖 New AI Model

Elina is powered by a new model. She now takes a bit more time to think, but her suggestions are sharper, more relevant, and more helpful.

🎨 UI Enhancements

• Personalized suggested messages now appear at the top of chat
• Elina’s initial custom message includes quick “Yes” / “No” reply buttons for faster interactions

🎁 Educator Challenge Modal

Brazilian and U.S. teachers now see a special modal introducing the Educator Challenge: complete tasks, join a feedback session, and get a chance to win a Gift Card!

📊 Smarter Analytics

We’ve updated Mixpanel events and reporting to better understand how Elina is being used, so we can keep improving the experience.
